Ever since we established some of the mentees, we have seen remarkable progress. Through mentorship they have been given the principles needed to succeed at starting their new venture and we are excited for what the future holds for them!

During our session with Alonzo, we learned what strategic planning in business means, its importance and how to go about it. The first thing he mentioned was the importance of a VISION.

This is an avenue to meet and connect, to look at the work other NGOs are doing, and to see how our visions can align. The gathering is open for NGOs operating in the education, health, entreprenurship, leadership and capacity development space.

We had one of our international mentors, Steve Clapp teach us some of the ways business owners can overcome obstacles in start-ups. Steve Clapp started and owned an accounting business for 20 years before he sold it to start a butcher shop.

Entrepreneurs should have both leadership and entrepreneurial skills in order to succeed. At The Leader Team, we mentor people to be good leaders who will display their leadership skills in business and life in general.
