This Year’s Mentorship Feels Different, Here’s Why

We officially launched this year’s Mentorship Program, and there’s something special about this cohort.

For the first time, every entrepreneur in the program has 5–10 years of business experience. Many of them employ staff, while others are mentoring and training young apprentices thereby empowering the next generation with skills and keeping them away from harmful distractions. This year, we’re working closely with 14 dedicated entrepreneurs, our smallest group yet, but each one full of potential.

Real Growth. Real Transformation.

Few months in, and we’re already seeing incredible progress from our entrepreneurs.

  • Chioma once found financial tracking overwhelming. But after our Financial Management session, she’s now applying what she learned and seeing measurable improvement.

  • Israel shared that our session on Overcoming Business Obstacles came just in time to reignite his drive and help him push through a difficult season.

  • Latifat has gotten the push to pitch her pastries to supermarkets in her area giving her brand more visibility.

  • Benedicta now knows how to work better with her staff, ensuring that they feel cared for.

  • Colins interacts better with his clients and has experienced better reviews and customer retention.

This is the kind of transformation that drives our mission.

Jane from this year owns a diagnostic centre

Others include:

  • A natural skincare brand

  • A salon owner

  • A beauty therapist

  • A photographer

  • A laundry & dry cleaning service

  • Bakers and fashion designers

Colins produces shoes

It’s a beautiful mix of passion, skill, and potential and we’re honored to walk alongside them.

Want to Join the Next Cohort?

We’re always excited to welcome new entrepreneurs into the our community. If you're interested in being part of a future mentorship cycle, here are five tips to help you prepare:

  1. Follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram to stay updated on application announcements and program highlights.

  2. Ensure your business is at least 3 years old at the time of applying.

  3. Business must be your main focus and not a side hustle. We prioritize full-time entrepreneurs.

  4. Provide accurate contact information and be ready to respond via phone or email.

  5. Explore our website and social media to understand the program, its values, and what’s expected.

We believe mentorship isn’t just about training, it’s about building lasting relationships that lead to long-term growth. And as we continue with this year’s journey, we’re excited for the transformation ahead.
